Annual TB surveillance reports

Since 2008, ECDC and the World Health Organization’s Regional Office for Europe have been jointly conducting TB surveillance for the WHO European Region, sharing the collection, validation, analysis and dissemination of data, as well as other activities related to the surveillance and monitoring of TB. Between 1996 and 2008, TB surveillance was coordinated and conducted by the Institut de Veille Sanitaire in France under the European tuberculosis surveillance programme (EURO TB).

The annual TB Surveillance Report presents the key findings on TB trends and an overview of the TB situation in the European Region.
