Description of the institute   

The Public Health & Health Protection Authority of Frankfurt/Main is responsible for protecting health of all citizens in the city of Frankfurt/Main. Its responsibility includes infectious disease control, consulting in cases of high consequence infectious diseases, surveillance of hygiene in medical and other institutions as well as ensuring save drinking water. The office is responsible for protection the health of the population from chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear incidents, it promotes vaccination and ensures medical care for uninsured patients.
