Training programmes

ECDC organises several training activities in epidemiology, communicable diseases and public health. These include

• online and live courses for public health professionals
• fellowships across the EU as well as the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions in intervention epidemiology and public health microbiology
• providing training and materials for public health trainers
• developing core competency frameworks to define, categorise and standardise public health expertise
